Golf Progress

THE BRIEF
Golf Progress came to Blitzgear Inc. to brand themselves and take their golf instruction business to the next level. Already blessed with a large client base and steady bookings, there was still a need to focus on branding the business and creating a stronger online presence for future growth.
THE CONCEPT
Golf Progress Founder Kelvin Ko came to us with an idea to design an identity that emotes friendly competition, and healthy progression. Keeping these directions in mind, we came up with a logo that is inspired by the motion of a golfer’s swing supported by colours derived from the progressive planes on a golf course.
THE WORK
With Golf Progress, Blitzgear Inc. embarked on three major projects; branding, website design and development, and product development.
Branding: This was the initial stage of our collaboration; we established brand positioning, profile, colors, logos and tag lines. The end result was a brand that exudes strength, power, athleticism, and golf.
Website and Development: With the brand elements established, we followed these guidelines to design and develop the website. The Golf Progress project was unique in that the website included a league feature, sign in, score tracking and match scheduling.
Golf Journal: Building on the Golf Progress brand, Kelvin wanted to create a work book for golfers to track and manage their game. We conducted market research, designed, and produced the product. We also created a Blitzgear Frontline e-commerce site for the purpose of selling and distributing the journals.
